- Unearthing Christ's Love with the lost, the broken, the fallen..
Thank-You for your interest in Community Care World Mission

WHY WE ARE HERE
Community Care World Mission Ltd (CCWM) is a not-for-profit, non-denominational christian charitable organisation based in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne, Victoria Australia.

CCWM is committed to working with the lost, the broken and fallen; restoring hope through empowering and honoring relationships and alleviating the causes of poverty and oppression for all people; regardless of ethnicity, religion, or social status. We strive to assist all with the provision of basic material needs, giving emotional support, and encouraging holistic growth as well as facilitating unity through a network of international churches.

HOW WE GOT HERE
Since our establishment in 2004 we have primarily been providing welfare in the form of recycled clothing and counselling to those in need in the outer western suburbs and regional Victoria, Australia.

During our foundational years we were able to host Christmas lunches for those without a place to feel welcome, support those in need through the provision of clothing and footwear in collaboration with a commercial recycled fashion store and offer free counselling services to those seeking it. We were able to expand our work with new projects such as our weekly women’s group and projects such us a fellowship bbq at a local caravan park and supported youth radio program in collaboration with a community radio station as opportunities arose.

Towards the end of 2007 we were able to begin our international relationships by connecting with some volunteers throughout the Republic of Benin, Republic of Kenya and Republic of Liberia. From these relationships we have expanded what is now known as the CCWM Global Church Network to support over 40 churches throughout 7 different countries predominately in the region of Western Africa along with Faith Covenant Partners throughout another 4 countries.

Throughout 2008 and early 2009 we underwent some significant changes in our board of governance and management responsibilities which resulted in us refocusing and restructuring the organisation to its current state. These changes allowed us to see more clearly our future and how to most effectively act and work in the present.

POLICIES & STATEMENTS
MISSION STATEMENT
We exist to help those in need by partnering with the community through providing food, clothing shelter and resources as needed.
We believe that even though our time on this earth is temporary that God is just and loving and as such are motivated to share his passion for justice and his heart with all people through caring for their current physical, emotional and spiritual state.
We hope that those who receive our care will be blessed to understand the love of Jesus Christ, The Holy Spirit and Father God.
It has been said that “a hungry man has no ears” we believe that by acting in the love of the Triune God and ‘feeding’ those who haven’t heard or understood that they may see with clarity, as that of pure water, the love we are motivated by and the God who calls us all to his care.

VISION STATEMENT
We endevour to transform our community through hope, healing and wholeness as Christ appropriates it.

2. The virgin birth, sinless life, atoning death, triumphant resurrection, ascension and faithful intercession of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. His second coming and eternal reign. Justification and sanctification of believers through the completed work of Jesus Christ.
3. The crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ for the purpose of bringing eternal freedom and life to those who make a faith decision to believe in him. This because of the inherent corruptness of humanity through the fall, which requires divine atonement. Through Jesus Christ, the prevenient grace of God makes it possible for all to believe, to be forgiven of sin and be saved.
4. The divine inspiration and authority of Holy Scripture.
5. The sacraments of; Baptism by immersion and of Communion.
6. The believer’s baptism of the Holy Spirit that results in spiritual gifts with signs following, for the use of the church and growth of Christ’s kingdom.
7. Church government, ministry and administration by apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers. With elders to be appointed and approved of at the appropriate times by those with the five fold ministry anointing.
8. The heart principle of giving and bringing offerings to the Lord.
9. An Egalitarian view which holds that men and women were created equal with differences and that either may be gifted through Gods grace to any position in Church leadership or ministry. That all believers are called to fulfil the great commission according to Mathew 28: 18-20.
10. The return of Jesus Christ, the bodily resurrection of the dead – of a final judgment of the saved to eternal blessedness, and the lost to everlasting separation from God in Hell.
