Before All Time and Now Forever.

What is it about God that eludes us so? One aspect is His knowledge of our future and how He interacts with that knowledge in our present. We humans live in “time”, we think in timelines, remember in timelines and plan in timelines. But with God there is no time, He created time for us. God is omnipresent; He is outside of time and can look into many places on the timeline at once. There is no past present or future where God is because He is outside of time. This means it is possible for Him to be everywhere at once, it’s possible for Him to communicate with many people at once and its possible for Him to know exactly what is best for us at all times. Understanding this; we can rest in the knowledge that even when things don’t make sense; and when we feel we are faced with something too big to handle, that God knows the future. So putting your trust in a being who is pure and good and already in our future makes sense doesn’t it?

“To the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen.” (Jude 1:25)
