Advance!

This is a year of advancing, not
retreating, not standing still. It is
time to take territory off the enemy, or whoever has robbed us, and hold it,
then advance further. No longer can we
say: “that’s just the way I am, or the way they are, it/they can never change,
they will always be the same”. No no,
where courage or boldness is needed to confront a situation, a person or enemy
stronghold, God will give all that’s needed.

To advance our faith walks and to advance
the kingdom, decisive deliberate action is what I believe the Lord is saying
for this year. In turn, change (even
‘impossible’ change) will take place in the unseen spiritual realm, and even
before your very eyes.

The strongholds are falling; they are being
removed, torn down, in order for Gods kingdom to advance into places, people
and areas that have never been touched before.
Miracles will bring open heavens of renewal where spiritual dryness is,
and where ‘religion’ rules.

In all this, don’t be any longer held down
or held back by any weakness, opposition, ‘apparent defeat’, persecution or
lack. For the resources of heaven are at
your disposal. Be encouraged, be strong,
stand firm, don’t look back or be led back to the past, that’s retreat. But run the race in His strength and power. And wherever you live, look to see the power
of the Spirit at work in awesome ways this year.

Before All Time and Now Forever.

What is it about God that eludes us so? One aspect is His knowledge of our future and how He interacts with that knowledge in our present. We humans live in “time”, we think in timelines, remember in timelines and plan in timelines. But with God there is no time, He created time for us. God is omnipresent; He is outside of time and can look into many places on the timeline at once. There is no past present or future where God is because He is outside of time. This means it is possible for Him to be everywhere at once, it’s possible for Him to communicate with many people at once and its possible for Him to know exactly what is best for us at all times. Understanding this; we can rest in the knowledge that even when things don’t make sense; and when we feel we are faced with something too big to handle, that God knows the future. So putting your trust in a being who is pure and good and already in our future makes sense doesn’t it?

“To the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen.” (Jude 1:25)
